To whom it may concern,
Why should the British taxpayer of today pay for the mistakes of people made in the past? If reparations are to be paid it would come from my pocket. What have I done to deserve that? And what have the recipients done to deserve compensation for something that didn't directly happen to them? I would be indirectly giving money for something I wasn't responsible for to someone who hasn't been directly affected. Am I incorrect in thinking there is a problem with this?
Everyone is out for easy money. I for one am disgusted that people like you are encouraging such actions. It's all to easy to place blame on others when the fault lies with oneself. I consider this campaign a stain on decent society.
