What a load of rubbish, I am a university lecturer of history, and to be perfectly honest if i had to live under any empire of history, I would have wanted to live under the british empire. We did not force the populace of any nation to be 'Britainized'. We presereved native cultures. Unlike America who from 1806- 1870 expanded their borders by forcing native culture to become indoctranted into the american system. And if you really think that the British government is going to take a minutes notice of you, you are truly insane?"

This shows the appalling low standard in English History departments ..what poverty of intellect there is in these decrepid UK SPIN DOCTOR departments. History is often used as a propaganda tool by the powerful to misrepresent the TRUTH .....think of any recent examples ?? The English Upper Criminal CLasses were patrons of history texts and dare any academic to write the TRUTH ..hence the clear omission in British texts of the EVIL OPIUM trade from which the likes of DRUG LORD JARDINE and DRUG LORD Matheson profitted handsomely .. ...all this HIDDEN from the eyes of 'commoners' ..Frankly I don't where to begin by tearing this nonsense apart ... take for example "Unlike America who from 1806- 1870 expanded their borders by forcing native culture to become indoctranted into the american system" ... OH give me a break!! .. The English committed physical and cultural genocide against the Irish , and Aboriginals in numerous countries such as Australia .USA ,India ....the only thing this nation of bullies and thugs ever understood was the point of a gun ..hence the collapse of this imperialist demon and good riddance to it too... oh ..and you don't have to live in an EMPIRE
