Hospitals Treating More And More Drunk Kids

Here's some sad, yet unsurprising news from England: From 2002 to 2007, 648 children under 10 were hospitalized with alcohol problems. For children under 16, that number is at 24,000.

We don't know what's more depressing: That one kid under 10 is hospitalized every three days in the UK, or that we are not at all shocked to find this out. Upon finding out about these numbers, one might ask, "Where are the parents? Why aren't they stopping their kinds from drinking?" Well, in England, they're out drinking the night away at the pub. With a horse. A horse that later drunkenly falls in some stranger's pool.
