Here's a clip from a BBC program celebrating the history of British television. Unsurprisingly, it's a history filled with bloodlust, bigotry, and pedophilia. So while American shows like I Love Lucy and Abbott and Costello were paving the way for modern television, the Brits were busy watching public hangings and naked two-year-olds crawling around.
