Man Jailed For Spraying Urine In Supermarkets
Sahnoun Daifallah, an Algerian-born chemist was sentenced to nine years in jail for spraying a mixture of urine and feces in two supermarkets, one pub, and one bookstore.
Witnesses at the supermarkets claim they saw Daifallah spraying a foul-smelling brown liquid on frozen french fries and wine bottles. Others at the bookstore say they saw him spraying children's books.
Judge Carol Hagen was disgusted by Daifallah's actions and wanted to jail him indefinitely (though she knew the law would not allow that). "Your actions showed a callous disregard for public safety and you caused considerable alarm and anxiety," she told him.
We don't know what the big deal is here. British "chefs" get away with serving feces to hungry diners every day.
