A survey has revealed that one-in-five Britons have no clue where on earth they are during their vacation. Some even bring the wrong currency and book the wrong hotels.
The Thai capital of Bangkok proved to be the most difficult locale for Britons to pinpoint on a map, while Palma in Mallorca was commonly mistaken for La Palma in the Canaries.
"It is worrying that a considerable proportion of the British public don’t know where in the world they are when they are on holiday, especially when so many go back to the same places year after year," said researcher Bob Atkinson.
This just goes to show you, the only reason Britain didn't colonize Thailand was because no one was capable of locating it on a map. That's what you get for being debauched 24/7.
